Worcester insurer Fallon Health is seeking applicants for a $100,000 grant program aimed at helping community programs provide access to healthy food or for seniors to overcome social isolation.
Last year, Fallon chose 10 groups for funding out of 80 applicants. This year, it’s seeking letters of intent by April 30, with recipients announced in September.
Fallon, which has run its Community Impact Grants Program since 2004, for a total of $2 million given away, is seeking this year to help those affected by the coronavirus pandemic. That includes those fighting food insecurity and seniors who are socially isolated.
