Fallon Health CEO and President Richard Burke is one of three new members of the Assumption College Board of Trustees.
Burke graduated from Assumption summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science in 1980 as valedictorian. He has been with Fallon Health since 1998 and is active in the community, having served on the boards of Fitchburg State University, the Worcester Economic Club and the Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
Also elected to the board was Alison Kenary, an active volunteer and philanthropist in the Worcester community. She volunteers with the Diocese of Worcester Vocations Office and has served on the boards of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Old Sturbridge Village, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Worcester Historical Museum, Worcester Garden Club, Worcester Wellesley Club and Junior League of Worcester; as a corporator of the Worcester Art Museum and EcoTarium.
Lilliam Alonso Miller, a 1989 graduate from Assumption, will also join the board. She is president and co-owner of Remodela, Inc., an upscale kitchen and bath appliance store. She is also president of the Drug Enforcement Association Caribbean Citizen’s Academy, an outreach program which spreads awareness to thwart drug trafficking.
