A Providence executive search firm has opened its first Massachusetts office on Park Avenue in Worcester.
Standish Executive Search, with offices in Providence and Bedford, N.H., announced the Worcester office last week.
Principles of the firm, Stanley Davis and Kelley Small, will lead the Worcester office.
The firm says its niche is working with small-to-medium-sized businesses positioned for growth, change or succession.
Davis brings organization building and business transformation experience, while Kelley brings the knowledge of the Worcester market as a former long-time Worcester area resident, business owner and advisor.
According to the company’s website, the firm helped Worcester-based Killeen Manufacturing and Security products select its next Director of Operations David Snelling.
“Advanced and sophisticated companies in Massachusetts are a burgeoning factor in the state’s economy,” Davis said in a statement. “Working with them to identify, attract and guarantee the success of their right new leaders is a core competency of the Standish team.”
