Executive leaving Fitchburg rubber bullet maker

The executive vice president at Fitchburg’s Security Devices International Inc. will step down as of tomorrow, according to the company that manufactures rubber bullets and other less-lethal projectiles used by military and police forces.

The sales position handled by Allen Ezer will now be handled by Northeast Industrial Partners, with Ezer retaining a director position until the company’s upcoming general meeting, according to the company.

The news follows the July announcement that the company’s CEO was stepping down.

The announcement was accompanied by news that the company has secured a sales-and-distribution agreement with the Bob Barker Co. of North Carolina that supplies detention centers.
