Anna Cross, the first full-time executive director at the MetroWest Nonprofit Network, is stepping down from the role. Cross has been in the position since 2016.
Cross previously worked for Framingham Public Schools, eventually as director of family and community engagement, according to her LinkedIn profile. Cross’s next role has not yet been announced.
The MetroWest Nonprofit Network, officially established as an independent nonprofit organization in 2010, is a forum to connect organizations in the region for collaboration and resource-sharing.
Among Cross’s contributions to the network was the creation of a nonprofit certificate program in collaboration with Framingham State University. The program has seen 47 graduates in its first two years, according to a Monday press release from the network.
The board will begin a search to find a replacement executive director.. The job description will be posted externally to the network’s website on Feb. 27, and the board is seeking community recommendations.
