EXACT awaits decision on cancer screening

EXACT Sciences Corp. in Marlboro says it has yet to hear from the American Cancer Society whether the organization will alter its recommendations for screening patients for colorectal cancer.
The biotech firm makes and licenses products used to test for the disease.
The ACS has yet to make any changes in its screening guidelines, despite a series of meetings in Washington D.C. dedicated to possible revisions.
Those discussions over possible changes to guidelines are expected to continue.WBJ Web Partners
