(Updated: 9:59 a.m. on Oct. 5) Two former executives at Cutler Capital Management in Worcester have launched an investment firm in the city.
David Grenier and Paul Bucci’s firm, Balanced Growth Advisors, is at 39 Salisbury St. It serves high-net-worth individuals, wealth management firms, endowments, foundations and institutions.
Grenier is former president of Cutler Capital Management, which he co-founded 12 years ago. Bucci is former managing director and portfolio manager at Cutler.
“The new firm draws on our more than 40 years of combined investment expertise, including our strong focus on analyzing credit and structure in the convertible securities space,” Grenier said in a statement.
The two business partners will follow a risk-averse investment philosophy. The firm’s investment approach “will seek to balance growth, income and risk management by investing primarily in convertible bonds and convertible preferred securities,” the statement said.
(A correction was made as the address of the business was initially incorrectly listed as 29, not 39, Salisbury St.)
