Evergreen Solar Sets Public Offering Price
Evergreen Solar Inc. of Marlborough announced that the initial price an anticipated public offering will be $12.11 per share.
The offering will include $325 million in public notes due in 2013. The initial conversion rate is 82.56 shares per $1,000 principal amount.
Evergreen said it plans to use the proceeds from the offering to complete the construction and equipping of its solar panel manufacturing plant in Devens, to start construction of a new factory producing heat-resistant string for its products and for general purposes including working capital and the purchase of raw materials.
