Michael El-Hillow, CFO and COO of Evergreen Solar Inc. in Marlborough, has been named the company’s new CEO, replacing Richard Feldt, who left to become CEO of a privately-held company.
Evergreen officials did not name the firm Feldt went to.
El-Hillow, the company’s CFO, has worked at Evergreen since 2005 and served as chairman of the Evergreen board of directors. Last year he added COO to his title.
The company will be searching for a new CFO.Â
