Evergreen Expands European Sales Team

Evergreen Solar Inc., the Marlborough-based solar panel manufacturer, has appointed four new sales managers across Europe.
The company created new sales management positions in Italy, Spain and France and has filled a vacant sales manger position in Germany.
European sales represent about 70 percent of the company's overall revenue. The company has its European sales headquarters in Berlin.
Christian Benöhr has been appointed to serve in Germany; Antonio Ruta will serve in Italy; Pedro Sanz will work in Spain; and Fabrice Bicego will work in France. Each will report to Thomas Hofmann, who was named Evergreen Solar's director of sales for Europe in March.
