Eve Lindquist, longtime executive director of Visitation House, Inc., will retire effective Aug. 31, the Worcester nonprofit helping women manage unplanned pregnancies announced on Sunday.
Lindquist led the organization for 13 years, according to the retirement announcement. While Lindquist was in charge, the nonprofit achieved recognition as a GuideStar Gold nonprofit.
“I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude to have worked with a woman of such passion, drive and devotion to the cause of life,” said Joseph Williams, board chairman emeritus and a founding board member, in a statement.
The board has formed a search committee tasked with finding Lindquist’s replacement. Candidate recommendations may be sent to Christine Farmer, board vice chair, at christinefarmerconstulting@
