Environmental Council Hosts Annual Slow Food Gala

Worcester’s Regional Environmental Council will host its annual Slow Food Gala from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Hogan Ballroom at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. This event raises funds and awareness for the council’s food and environmental justice work in Worcester, including coordinating a network of 62 community and school gardens. The gala features a four-course meal made from local, sustainably-grown ingredients and will also feature a silent auction and award presentations.
