Enterprise Bancorp Inc. (EBTC), which has branches in Action, Fitchburg, Leominster and Westford, declared a quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share to be paid March 3.
The dividend is payable to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10, according to the Lowell-based bank, and represents a 4.3-percent increase over the 2013 dividend rate.
In its most recent financial report, Enterprise reported strong performance in the third quarter of 2013, which ended Sept. 30, with net income of $3.5 million, up 15 percent from the third quarter of 2012. Meanwhile, net income for the year increased 10 percent to $10 million, compared to 2012.
