Engage and overcome

A recent survey found that 81 percent of HR professionals believe employee recognition and engagement programs are integral to recruiting top talent, while 84 percent of those surveyed said such programs help improve a company’s bottom line. The survey, conducted by the employee recognition company Globoforce, solicited opinions from 70 HR executives from Fortune 500 companies. HR professionals said that formal employee engagement programs help companies differentiate and distance themselves from competition.
