Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. was awarded a 10-year contract to provide enterprise disk storage infrastructure and services to the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA), the agency said.
The SSA is obligated to spend a minimum of $500,000 though the contract could be worth as much as $130 million, according to Kia Anderson, a spokeswoman for the SSA.
Anderson said the services will be used for the agency’s Open Systems environment. EMC did not provide additional details on the contract by deadline Wednesday.
