Mozy Inc., a subsidiary of Hopkinton-based data storage giant EMC Corp., said it doubled its business customer base in the first half of the year.
Mozy said it now has more than 750,000 users and 20,000 business customers. That includes a new contract from Thrive Networks Inc., a subsidiary of Staples.
EMC acquired Mozy, which is based in Utah, in 2007. It provides online data backup service.
