EMC Hires Marketing EVP
EMC Corp. of Hopkinton has named Jeremy Burton executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Burton has worked in the IT industry for 20 years. In his new position he will be responsible for all aspects of EMC's marketing. He will report to chairman and CEO Joe Tucci.
Burton previously was president and CEO of Serena Software. Before that he was group president of Symantec's security and data management business unit and executive vice president of the data management group at Veritas. He also worked for nearly a decade at Oracle, rising to senior vice president of product and services marketing.
