Data center software company Egenera has moved its headquarters from Marlborough to Boxborough.
The company said its new 26,000-square-foot location at the technology park Tech Central @ Boxborough will give it room for a larger data center and research and development lab, as well as extra office space for new employees.
Egenera said it signed a five-year lease for the space at 80 Central St.
In 2008, the company laid off more than a quarter of its worldwide workforce, including 35 jobs in Marlborough, but Egenera cites steady growth in recent quarters and said it anticipates continuing strong results.
