Continuing its push to add corporate partners across the world, data center company Egenera Inc. of Marlborough said a new Texas-based company will sell its hardware.
Austin Ribbon & Computer Supply Co. of Austin, will sell Egenera technology. ARC specializes in sales of IT equipment from manufacturers to state and local governments, education systems and health care businesses.
Last month Egenera announced similar partnerships with companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In addition to the new partnership, Egenera also announced that Jim Bandanza will be the company’s new executive vice president and chief operating officer. Bandanza previously served as a vice president of worldwide sales and field operations of RSA, a data security company purchased by EMC for $2.1 billion in 2005.
