Entrepreneurship for All, the Lowell nonprofit with a location in Worcester, has received a $277,777 racial justice grant from Facebook, the organization announced on Monday.
EforAll runs year-long business accelerator programs across various communities in Massachusetts, including Worcester. The nonprofit reports 58% of businesses started by their participants are owned by people of color, with 46% owned by immigrants.
“Entrepreneurship is a critical component of both addressing the racial wealth gap and ensuring a thriving, vibrant economy in communities across the United States,” said David Parker, CEO of EforAll, in a statement.
EforAll said it expects the grant will allow it to expand programming among Black and Latino residents.
The incubator, which matches participants with three mentors, is provided at no cost to participants and is available in both English and Spanish.
