Entrepreneurship for All Greater Worcester and EparaTodos Greater Worcester have a new executive director. Jose Castro, previously program coordinator and program manager for the Worcester-area branch of the entrepreneurship nonprofit, will lead the national organization’s initiatives in Greater Worcester.
Castro will drive the direction for both English and Spanish language programs at the Worcester area site, according to a Wednesday press release from the organization. He was born in Puerto Rico and came to Worcester to earn his bachelor’s degree at Clark University.
Castro became executive director in Greater Worcester at the same time at EforAll Berkshire County and EforAll and EparaTodos Lynn announced new leaders. The new executive directors for Berkshire County and Lynn are Allison Schmitt and Alain Montes. Schmitt was also previously a program manager for her branch.
“We are honored to have driven and passionate leaders like Allison and Jose within our organization who not only believe in our mission but thoroughly understand our program’s growth and forward trajectory,” EforAll Chief Operating Officer Peter Whaley said in the press release.
EforAll Greater Worcester programs received a $25,000 grant from The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts in May to support its business accelerator program.
