The EcoTarium Museum of Science and Nature named attorney Joseph Bartulis, chair of the labor and employment law practice group at Worcester law firm Fletcher Tilton, as the Worcester museum’s new chair of the board of trustees.
Bartulis replaces Notre Dame Academy Chief Advancement Officer Sherri Pitcher as EcoTarium chair.
The EcoTarium also named a new board member Scott Fuller, a business development executive at MSC Industrial Supply Co., a New York-based company with offices in Woburn and Chicopee.
"I am thrilled to pass the baton to Joseph Bartulis as our new board chair and to welcome Scott Fuller as a board member," Pitcher said in a June 16 press release. "I am confident that under Joe's leadership, the EcoTarium will continue to flourish and inspire a lifelong curiosity for science and nature."
The EcoTarium on Harrington Way in Worcester traces its roots back to 1825, making it the second-oldest natural history museum in the United States, after the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.
“Both Joe and Scott bring valued expertise and a deep-rooted commitment to the community that align perfectly with our mission,” Pitcher said.
