eClinicalWorks, the Westborough-based electronic medical records company, will let customers self-activate certain aspects of its system to allow for faster adoption of eClinicalWorks tools.
The on-demand feature, set to launch in the second quarter this year, means that eClinicalWorks customers will not have to wait for installation of certain services, including care monitoring aspects and immunization registries.
The company also announced that a 600-member independent physician association in North Carolina has signed up to use the eClinicialWorks systems. Sandhills Physicians Inc. has pre-purchased 150 licenses of the eClinicalWorks technology.
