eClinicalWorks Secures Ohio Contract
Westborough-based eClinicalWorks, an ambulatory clinical systems company, announced that it has been chosen by Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence to provide its comprehensive electronic health records solution for 59 providers.
eClinicalWorks said use of the technology will help improve practice speed and efficiency. The private company did not disclose the amount of the deal.
Solutions the center will receive are electronic medical records; a portal for patients to communicate with doctors via the Internet; a clinical and financial analytics program; and eClinicalMessenger, which is a messaging service that utilizes Voice-over-Internet Protocol to enable physicians to send appointment reminders, lab results, diagnostic imaging and statements, and other messages to patients.
