An electronic health records system from Westborough-based eClinicalWorks is being offered to more than 300 private physicians in the Chicago area.
Rush Health will make the service available to its members at a subsidized rate as part of an increased focus on delivering preventative care. eClinicalWorks declined to disclose the cost of its electronic health record system to Rush Health physicians.
The records will improve the continuity of care by allowing critical patient information to be accessed at multiple sites, eClinicalWorks said in a statement.
“eClinincalWorks holds one of the largest independent practice market shares in Chicago and we expect it to grow with this relationship,” said CEO and co-founder Girish Navani in the statement. “Our capabilities in managing the provider, population and patient will aid Rush Health in offering more collaborative care based on real-time information.”
