Healthvision, an Irving, TX-based healthcare software developer, has finalized an agreement with eClinicalWorks in Westboro to become Healthvision's seventh electronic medical records (EMR) partner.
eClinicalWorks will be certified through Healthvision's e-Health Interoperability Exchange (HIE)Partnership Program, a system by which partners are certified to exchange clinical patient data through the HIE platform. The platform allows members of the patient care team to share the data among all providers and develop a complete electronic health data record for all patients.
By partnering with Healthvision, eClinicalWorks will be able to connect patient data from labs, hospitals, and physician practices with the entire provider team.
"Our EMR's comprehensive functionality, combined with Healthvision's information exchange platform, offers a total system that can automate the flow of clinical patient information within an entire healthcare information community," said Girish Kumar Navani, president of eClinicalWorks.
