eClinicalWorks has inked an agreement to provide a large, Midwestern physicians’ group with an electronic medical records system.
Advocate Physician Partners is the largest independent physicians’ network in the Midwest and will be one of the biggest EMR installations that Westborough-based eClinicalWorks has ever undertaken, the company said.
AAP includes more than 3,400 physicians. Its parent, Advocate Health Care, has 27,000 employees.
The network plans to phase in its use of the eClinicalWorks system with 1,200 physicians at 400 offices using the system by the middle of 2012.
