Westborough electronic medical records company eClinicalWorks recently announced that two Midwestern groups have adopted its systems.
Swope Health Services, a Kansas City-based community health center, and Iowa’s Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center will both use an electronic medical records and practice management system from Westborough’s eClinicalWorks.
Swope is a federally funded center with about 200 providers that offers care to patients with limited financial resources. The Iowa Extension Center works with primary care providers across the state, with a goal of helping at least 1,200 doctors, physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners adopt electronic systems.
