ECI In Accelerated Commercialization Program

Worcester-based ECI Biotech Inc. has been selected by the National Institutes of Health to participate in its Small Business Innovation Research commercialization assistance program.
The program is designed to help life sciences companies develop their commercial businesses and introduce their SBIR-developed products to the commercial marketplace. ECI will receive a mentorship for companies with clearly-defined markets and partners, or which have raised institutional funding or have completed clinical studies for drugs or medical devices.
ECI is developing a rapid diagnostic system that can be used by consumers and health care professionals to identify infections.
