Electric Boat in Groton was awarded a $53.7 million contract by the U.S. Navy to develop submarine technologies. Electric Boat, a General Dynamics Co., will perform technology studies including manufacturability, survivability, hydrodynamics and more. The contract has a total potential value of $78.5 million.
