Second Chance Animal Services, a nonprofit veterinary hospital based in East Brookfield, will officially open a new location in Southbridge on Thursday, according to a Monday press release from the organization.
In addition to offering veterinary services to what Chief Development Officer Lindsay Doray called a very underserved area, the hospital will partner with Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton to offer educational programs.Â
The new site will include the Second Chance Community Engagement Center, which will expand educational outreach, per the announcement.Â
Second Chance was founded in 1999 and has additional locations in North Brookfield, Springfield, and Worcester.
