Dudley businessman buys Southbridge industrial site for $2M

The president of a Dudley industrial firm has bought a Southbridge site for $2 million.

A limited liability corporation registered to Eric Cooley, the president of Industrial Transfer & Storage, bought a four-acre site at 529-557 Ashland Ave. in Southbridge. The site, which has had multiple tenants, includes a 32,000-square-foot building and a 7,000 square-foot building. Tenants include Accurate Metal Sales and Pack of Paws Dog Training.

It was last assessed by the Town of Southbridge at $1.3 million.

Industrial Transfer & Storage didn’t return a message seeking comment.

The sellers were two corporations registered to David Lee and Douglas Monson of Charlton. The sale closed April 23.
