DPH offering $75 to those who get COVID booster

Select Worcester COVID-19 booster clinics will provide $75 gift cards to those who get vaccinated, through a program coordinated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

The effort is part of a push to mitigate COVID spread during the holidays and colder months, the agency announced on Monday.

Clinics in Worcester will run on certain days throughout October and November.

“We’d like to see as many people vaccinated as possibl,e and so we are offering these community-based COVID vaccination clinics – including a $75 gift card incentive at select locations – to make it easier to protect your whole family against COVID-19,” DPH Commissioner Margret Cooke said in a written statement.

No identification or proof of health insurance will be required.
