Littleton-based Dover Saddlery Inc., a marketer of equestrian products, has named Richard St. George as their new director of merchandising.
St. George joins the company from Crane & Co., where he held the position of general merchandising manager. Before that, St. George was vice president of merchandising with Eastern Mountain Sports. St. George has also worked in various merchandising roles with The Gap Stores Inc. and Pottery Barn.
In his new role, St. George will manage the buying group and be responsible for developing and implementing the multi-channel merchandising strategy, and will report to Jonathan Grylls, chief operating officer.
