Littleton-based Dover Saddlery, an equestrian products retailer, announced the opening of its third new store in about a month. Dover's Austin, Texas store will open this fall, according to a statement from the company.
“As we continue our retail expansion, we are thrilled to be opening a Dover Saddlery tack store in the state capital,” said Janet Nittman, senior director of corporate communications. “We look forward to meeting riders from all English riding disciplines at our grand opening, and to becoming part of the Austin equestrian community.”
A grand-opening date hasn't been announced. Dover said details will be released on the company website.
The Austin announcement follows news in recent weeks that Dover will open stores in Winter Park, Fla. And Charlotte, N.C. this fall. That will bring Dover's store count to 21.
