Dover Revenues Rise 3.5 Percent

Littleton-based equestrian product retailer Dover Saddlery Inc. saw revenues rise 3.5 percent to $80.9 million in 2011, compared to the previous year, according to the company's preliminary, unaudited results.

The company sells products through catalogs and brick-and-mortar stores under the Dover and Smith Brothers names. In 2011, it said, it opened two new stores in Colorado and Illinois.

Same-store sales rose 11 percent in 2011, the company said.

Dover said it will release full financial results for the year toward the end of next month.
