Littleton-based equestrian retailer Dover Saddlery Retail announced plans to open its first store in Florida.
The company’s 19th location will open in Winter Park, just north of Orlando, in mid-October, Dover said.
Dover said it will open three stores this fall and announced plans last month to open its second Charlotte, N.C.-area store during that time. The location of the third store has yet to be announced. Its most recent store opening was in April in New York.
Last month, Dover reported second-quarter revenue of $22.9 million, up 8.6 percent over 2012, while net income was $355,000, down from $400,000.
