Marlborough-based software maker Unidesk announced that it has appointed a new chief executive.
Don Bulens joins the company as president and CEO. He previously led EqualLogic, which was acquired by Dell for $1.4 billion.
Bulens appointment will allow Unidesk’s founder, Chris Midgley, to step aside as acting CEO and focus on serving as the company’s chief technology officer.
Bulens was Ernst & Young’s 2008 Northeast Regional “Entrepreneur of the Year” and a National Finalist for the same award, and was named Massachusetts Network Communications Council’s 2008 “CEO of the Year.” He holds a BA degree from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA degree from Suffolk University.
