Distributor expands deal with national grocer

Millbrook Distribution Services Inc. of Leicester is putting speciality, natural and ethnic foods on the shelves at 362 Albertson's supermarkets.
The agreement is an expansion of a current distribution agreement between Millbrook and Albertson's.
The new arrangement would put food products distributed by Millbrook in Albertson's stores in Texas, Florida, Arizona and Colorado. The company already supplies Albertson's with non-food items like candles, cosmetics hosiery and small appliances.
Millbrook's parent company, Distribution Holdings Inc., is the nation's largest independent distributor of specialty foods, health and beauty products and general merchandise to supermarkets.
The company also carries a line of its own private label products.
