Distributed Energy drops off and signs on

Yesterday Nasdaq threatened to delist struggling Distributed Energy Systems of Wallingford. But today, the company won a $1 million development contract with Hamilton Sundstrand in Windsor Locks. Distributed Energy was selected to develop a means of breathable oxygen in nuclear submarines for U.S. and British Navy subs. “We selected Distributed Energy Systems … as a result of their advanced technical capability in electrolysis, their manufacturing expertise and the proven reliability of their equipment,” said Larry McNamara, director of strategy and development for Hamilton Sundstrand Space, Land & Sea, in a statement.
