The state’s Realtors group said year-over-year confidence among its members in market activity and prices continued to grow in October.
The Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) said market confidence advanced for the 27th straight month to 62.02 on a 100-point scale. But confidence fell slightly from a 62.61 reading in September.
The group’s price confidence index also rose year over year to 71.51, marking the 20th consecutive month of advances. That reading was up 2 percent from the September figure of 70.27.
Some 56 percent of survey respondents said the partial federal government shutdown in October had a neutral impact on business, while the remaining 44 percent said the shutdown had a negative impact.
