Texas electronics manufacturer Dell has sold subsidiary EMC Corp.’s former Westborough facility for $12.2 million to a local real estate firm.
According to state land and business records, Westborough real estate firm Carruth Capital closed on the purchase Wednesday.
The property, at 3400 Computer Drive, is currently home to diagnostics services LabCorp, which has been leasing the property from EMC, which had owned the property since 2001.
Carruth Capital controls a large portion of the corporate office space in the area, including at least two other Computer Drive buildings and an office park across Route 9.
According to the Carruth’s website, in controls 25 different office properties, including existing buildings and master planned sites.
