Hopkinton-based Dell EMC, a subsidiary of Texas electronics manufacturer Dell Technologies, sold a 52,700-square-foot Milford property it had used as a training center for $1.7 million.
The property at 31 Maple St. in Milford was bought by an entity registered to Calare Properties, a Framingham-based real estate investment and development firm, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
Separately, Calare bought part of the former Staples campus in Framingham for $9.5 million in June 2020.
EMC Corp. used the Milford building as an education training center. The interior includes classrooms, meeting rooms, a computer lab, and a cafeteria, according to a post by online property listing service LoopNet.
The property is assessed at just under $5 million, according to the Milford assessors’ database.
Dell Technologies, whose EMC offices are located in Hopkinton, is the largest manufacturer in Central Massachusetts with 8,800 local employees.
