Texas computer giant Dell EMC, with operations in Hopkinton, announced Tuesday an expansion of its midrange storage portfolio with two new all-flash data storage arrays.
The new Dell EMC SC All-Flash arrays are designed to help customers modernize data centers to be quicker, efficient and cheaper to run than existing applications.
The hardware manufacturer has introduced software upgrades for its data storage platform Dell EMC Unity -- Unity OS V4.3 -- including all-flash efficiency, synchronous file replication and online data-in-place storage controller upgrades.
The company announced a new loyalty program, the Dell EMB Future-Proof Storage Loyalty Program, which features a three-year satisfaction guarantee, a 4:1 all-flash storage efficiency guarantee, built-in data migrations and other protections.
The all-flash systems will be available in December and the new Unity system will be available in January.
