Framingham healthcare intelligence company Definitive Healthcare Corp. announced Robert Musslewhite’s appointment as the firm's first president, in a Thursday press release.
The president role is a newly created position on the company’s executive leadership team, according to the announcement.
Previously, Musslewhite served as CEO of OptumInsight, the health services business sector of Minnesota conglomerate Optum, per the release.
Musslewhite serves on the Definitive Healthcare Board of Directors, Boards of Directors of CoStar Group, and the Ascend Learning board.
“With a total addressable market of more than $10 billion, and a highly differentiated SaaS platform, Definitive Healthcare is well positioned for the future and is poised to make a tremendous positive impact within the healthcare industry,” said Musslewhite in the press release
Musslewhite received a law degree from Harvard Law School in Cambridge and a bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University in New Jersey, according to the press release.
