Definitive Healthcare, a Framingham-based commercial intelligence firm, has launched a new artificial intelligence program to use machine learning to target growth opportunities for its clients.
The new analytics platform will be called Atlas AI and is intended to leverage new technologies for Definitive Healthcare’s customers through market intelligence. The Atlas AI will use advanced data science analyzing claims and affiliation data to power decisions related to allocation of resources, strategic planning, and business decisions, according to a Wednesday press release from the company.
“Our smart and dedicated team of data scientists have created a powerful set of proprietary analytics that help our customers understand, compete, and win in the complex healthcare ecosystem,” Robert Musslewhite, CEO of Definitive Healthcare, said in the press release.
The new platform will use proprietary analytics across 11 areas, including data about physicians most likely or least likely to prescribe different drugs, rankings of experts, and payor analysis, according to the press release.
Definitive Healthcare was founded in 2011 and has more than 900 employees and nearly 3,000 customers, according to its website.
