Database marketer InfoUSA plans to acquire competing list broker Direct Media later this month.
Omaha-based InfoUSA announced the deal, but the terms were not disclosed.
InfoUSA Chairman and CEO Vin Gupta says the acquisition will advance his company’s plan to consolidate the direct marketing industry.
Direct Media, which is based in Greenwich, has been in business for more than 40 years.
Direct Media CEO and President Larry May says the deal should allow his company to expand and offer more services to its clients while retaining its key employees.
Direct Media’s shareholders have already approved the deal, which is expected to close by January 31st.
