The board of trustees for the Massachusetts Hospital Association in Burlington has named LYNN NICHOLAS president and CEO. Prior to this new appointment at MHA, Nicholas served as the CEO of the American Diabetes Association for two and a half years. Before joining the ADA, Nicholas was the president and CEO of the Louisiana Hospital Association, four and a half years.
Worcester-based Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership has elected KATHLEEN RENTSCH, the Dean of Instruction for Business and Technology at Quinsigamond Community College, to its board of directors. Rentsch has more than twenty years of academic and professional experience in public higher education and non-profit management.

St. John's High School in Shrewsbury has named JOHN ERMILIO director of advancement. He has been a member of the English department at St. John's for the past nine years and the rowing coach for the past 18 years.
Dr. KETAKI PATEL, has joined the medical staff of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. She also serves as a hospitalist-physician at UMass Memorial Medical Center and as an assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester. A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, she completed her residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. She resides in Worcester.
Westborough-based RedTail Solutions, a provider of on-demand electronic trading solutions, has named JEFF HERRMANN to its board of directors. He has more than 20 years of senior management experience with a variety of supply chain software and other high-tech firms. He is the former CEO and chairman of SupplyWorks Inc.
Orlando-based Pinnacle Financial Corporation has hired JOEY FERNANDES and JACKSON GEORGES as mortgage loan officers in the South Natick branch office.
The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. in Worcester has appointed MARY JEANNE ANDERSON to vice president of bonds. In this position, she will be responsible for the organization's country-wide bond operations, which include contract surety, commercial surety and the fidelity lines of business, as well as bond claims. She joins Hanover from Arch Insurance Group/Kemper Surety, where she was vice president and chief underwriting officer.
Clinton Savings Bank has hired DEBRA SCANLON to its commercial team as assistant vice president/credit officer.
