The board of trustees for the Massachusetts Hospital Association in Burlington has named LYNN NICHOLAS president and CEO. Prior to this new appointment at MHA, Nicholas served as the CEO of the American Diabetes Association for two and a half years. Before joining the ADA, Nicholas was the president and CEO of the Louisiana Hospital Association, four and a half years.
Worcester-based Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership has elected KATHLEEN RENTSCH, the Dean of Instruction for Business and Technology at Quinsigamond Community College, to its board of directors. Rentsch has more than twenty years of academic and professional experience in public higher education and non-profit management.
CATHERINE LATHAM, human resources director for AstraZeneca in Westborough, has been appointed to the advisory board for the Female Leadership Interest Council Inc. She has served in her latest leadership role as the director of Human Resources at AstraZeneca for the last three years.
Maynard-based Iron Lore Entertainment has promoted JEFF GOODSILL to president. While continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, he will also provide critical leadership in improving overall team management and strategic planning. STEVE MARVIN has been hired as design director. Previously, he served as senior and lead designer and brings more than 10 years of games-industry experience.
Westborough-based Envox Worldwide, a global provider of IP-based voice solutions, has hired G. LEO CASEY as chief financial
officer. He has more than over 20 years of financial management experience in both private and public companies. Prior to joining Envox, he was the chief financial officer at Intrusic, Inc., Formation Systems, Inc. and the Open Software Foundation.
Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester has promoted
NAFIE SABA-SHAPAZIAN from executive director to administrator. She joined the Dodge Park in 2003 and was responsible for increasing the number of residents. Prior to joining Dodge Park, she worked as a private consultant for Philips Corporation in Andover.
St. John's High School in Shrewsbury has named
JOHN ERMILIO director of advancement. He has been a member of the English department at St. John's for the past nine years and the rowing coach for the past 18 years.

KETAKI PATEL, has joined the medical staff of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. She also serves as a hospitalist-physician at
UMass Memorial Medical Center and as an assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester. A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, she completed her residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. She resides in Worcester.

The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. in Worcester has appointed
MARY JEANNE ANDERSON to vice president of bonds. She joins Hanover from Arch Insurance Group/Kemper Surety, where she was vice president and chief underwriting officer.
