MARITA ZURAITIS, president of The Hanover Insurance Group's property and casualty companies, was appointed to the Advisory Board for the Female Leadership Interest Council Inc. Zuraitis, who has served in senior leadership positions for the past 25 years, will serve on the Council's Board with other female leaders representing private and public companies, nonprofit organizations and public agencies.
JOHN TANNER has been named general manager for American Alarm & Communications' Worcester branch. He will oversee sales, service and installation operations for commercial and residential customers throughout Central Massachusetts.Prior to joining American Alarm, Tanner worked at Brinks Home Security, leading that company's operations in Rhode Island.
JOHN KING has been promoted to branch manager and officer of Franklin-based Strata Bank's Millis branch. King, who has over 20 years of managerial experience, has been with Strata Bank since 2004. Before working at Strata, he was branch manager of Citizens Bank in Braintree.
THOMAS REVANE has been appointed president-elect of the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts in Worcester. The position of president-elect serves a one-year term and is second only to the president. Revane has served in a number of capacities for the HBAM in recent years. He has been a key member of several committees, served on the board of directors and was most recently senior vice president prior to his election as president-elect. He will assist the HBAM in the coming year in the efforts to improve the homebuilding industry and to help the industry to meet the housing needs of the commonwealth and its citizens.
Dr. SHUNIAN HE, an internal medicine physician with the UMass Memorial Medical Group, has joined the Marlborough Hospital medical staff. Dr. He has a clinical interest in geriatrics and women's health care issues, particularly in the areas of diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she received a master's degree in biochemistry and completed her residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY
BOB BOHNE has been hired as general manager at Holliston-based Cold Chain Technologies. Bohne has 25 years of experience managing manufacturing and engineering operations serving the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical instrument, and academic laboratory markets.
The Utility Contractors Association of New England in Auburn has named TOM DESCOTEAUX of R.H. White Construction, the Utility Contractor of the Year. Descoteaux earned a Civil Engineering Degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and later received an MBA from Nichols College. He currently serves as Vice President with responsibility for risk management, contract administration and human resource management. He has been a member of the UCANE Board of Directors for the past 12 years where has held positions of Secretary, Treasurer, President-Elect and President.
THOMAS GLANCY has been named regional vice president of the Northeast claims service center for Harleysville Insurance. In this position, he will oversee the operation located in Worcester and will be responsible for the company's claims activities in New England and New York. He joined Harleysville in 2001 and most recently, he served as regional vice president of the company's Midwest claims service center in Edina, Minn.
Clinton Savings Bank has promoted KRISTIN ZIRKEL to marketing communications officer. In this role, she will continue contributing to all bank marketing initiatives, including planning, advertising, internal communications and hands-on community efforts.

Adams is senior vice president of Fidelity Employer Services Company, Fidelity Investments in Marlborough. He is an information technology professional with over 27 years of experience in his field.
