DANI Instruments signs lease at Marlborough Tech Center

DANI Instruments Group, which makes gas chromatography equipment, has completed a reverse merger with Spectra Analysis Instruments (SAI) of Marlborough, according to O’Brien Commercial Properties Inc. of Concord.

The newly consolidated company has secured a long-term lease for 5,600 square feet of office and lab space at The Marlborough Technology Center at257 Simarano Dr.. The new space will be used for production and distribution of spectra analysis products for international sales, the realtor said. O’Brien Commercial Properties negotiated the lease.

A reverse merger is a way for private companies to go public.

DANI, based in Milan, Italy, announced in January its acquisition of SAI, which makes solid-phase infrared spectroscopy detectors for gas and liquid chromatography instrumentation. DANI opens U.S. operations with the acquisition.
